Greenergy's Career Starter is designed to give a young person a career start in the world of business and administration. This training orientated position will be based predominately in London, where you will be exposed to many facets of the company. Over a period of two years we will give you a selection of real roles and responsibilities that will allow you to enhance your skills and demonstrate your strengths.

At the end of two years you can expect to be offered a permanent role in a position that suits your skills and interest, perhaps as an active commercial negotiator, an administrative assistant, IT desktop support, customer service assistant or similar.
The starting pay will be £14,000 plus benefits.
We are looking for a self-motivated team player with a desire to make a career in an office based position. No formal qualifications are required but in selecting the candidate we will be looking for evidence of non-academic achievement, maybe in the area of work or sport or art or volunteering.

Duty Accountant

Greenergy is seeking a Duty Accountant to ensure correct compliance and accounting of the excise duty liabilities driven by the company's operations with responsibility for specific excise terminals.

Main Duties of the role:
- Ownership of process to ensure compliance of excise duty data collection, review, consolidation, preparation and payment of monthly duty liability;
- Ownership of process to ensure accuracy and completeness of accounting for excise duty in the general ledger in accordance with business timetable;
- Responsibility for ensuring any changes in the business (e.g. new terminals or products) are understood and the appropriate actions planned and taken to ensure properly reporting and compliance;
- Building and maintaining strong working relationships with all excise duty stakeholders (including terminals, HMRC, RTFO team and Operations team);
- Preparation and submission of monthly RDCO return;
- Ownership of the bio-product stock reconciliations to validate balances, movements and blends, and agree to the RTFO process; and
- Development and implementation of continuous improvement plan to drive increased quality, efficiency and exceed customer expectations.

Fuel Scheduler

Required to work a 4 on 4 off shift pattern.
Greenergy are looking to appoint a Fuel Scheduler to coordinate and communicate the timely delivery of fuel, in line with the demands of the customer and the available resources, through exceptional customer service. Weekend working will be required based on a 4 on 4 off shift pattern with some overtime to cover holiday/absence.

Main duties:
- To establish and develop good working relationships with all company contracts, customer contracts and third party contractors;
- To implement and communicate scheduling plans, optimizing the resources of the contractors/hauliers to ensure continuity of supply to all customer operations;
- To operate and gain competence on the VISIT scheduling system;
- To work closely with and to the forecasting plans of Greenergy’s Commercial Team at all times;
- To communicate with Greenergy’s Customer Service team to maximise commercial vehicle utilization;
- To ensure contractors and hauliers understand and can deliver to the schedules identified; and
- To monitor haulier performance closely to ensure deliveries are made in line with agreements.
Person specification:
- Proven ability of working in an order and dispatch environment that is customer service focussed, together with experience of vehicle scheduling;
- Must be IT literate to an intermediate standard (Excel, Word and Outlook);
- Must be confident on the phone and have excellent communication skills;
- A good eye for detail;
- An excellent team player; and
- Sound UK geographical knowledge..
